Using Jumps to Pressure Down Contacts

This is a very interesting technique from Dana Pike as a jump grid to get balanced striding across the A-frame.

According to Dana the jump after the A-frame is just the last jump in the sequence of strides.

However, it seems to have the added benefit of forcing a down contact as the dog has to prepare for the jump.

It seems to keep the dog focused on the A-frame to completion where as without the last jump the dog would be looking up to the next obstacle.

So with this exercise you are killing two birds with one stone, striding over the jump as well as a down contact.
