Teaching the Blind Cross in Dog Agility

Dog agility is all about foundation work, the more time you put into building a solid foundation the quicker everything else is to teach.

Tricky work like the single and even the double blind cross take just moments for the dog to start understanding when you have put in the foundation.

We love how you get to see the “light-bulb” moment as Sass starts to understand what is being asked in the cross.

Now don’t be fooled, this does not mean the dog is consistent yet, it takes proofing as you will see shortly after Sass gets the idea.

Working from different sides, angles and even moving to a new location are some of the first and easiest ways to start getting your dog solid on any command.
