Estaban Demonstrates The Double Rear Cross

Many of the more difficult courses will use a Serpentine setup on a line of jumps to test you and your dog’s handling skills.

The most popular way to handle these lines is by staying ahead of the dog on the inside of the line.

However, not everyone is fast enough to stay up with their dog, for various reasons, so it may be better to use a double rear cross instead.

Estaban shows you in this short video how the double rear cross would look on the same line as a serpentine handling.

This double rear cross example allows the handler to keep the same speed in the dog while they can keep a slower line.

This could be a real help to many teams that struggle with the serpentine, so be sure to SHARE this so they can learn another way to handle this jump sequence.
