How Body Language Can Affect Your Dog’s Recall
I think one of the hardest aspects of dog training is being able to lock out your negative emotions during training.
It is also hard to keep emotions in check during panic or emergency situations when it is most needed.
Whether out for a hike with your dog or at a first trial, if your dog decides to leave you have to have a solid recall.
In situations where you need your dog to come quickly, it is paramount you use proper body language.
If you appear threatening or angry to an excited or scared dog your chances of success will be greatly diminished.
Nick Jones does a great job demonstrating and teaching about how your body language affects your recall.
