Building Drive into Your Dog Agility Training

Polona does a great job of showing you how to build drive and speed into your dog agility exercises.

This is especially important if you run a dog that tends to be a bit lackluster or slow in their performance.

By building their excitement before taking on the exercises they will be excited and ready to run with speed.

You will note that adding the jumps takes some speed out of their run due to the turns, so ending with a tunnel is a great way to get them running hard again.

Get to know your dog as well. Don’t play so long beforehand that they run out of steam for the exercises.
