Brushing Your Dog’s Teeth How and Why

Dr. Mike does a good job of explaining the how and why’s of cleaning your dog’s teeth.

It is good to know as well that small dogs are prone to dental problems and need proactive care and attention to the teeth.

Some vets would say three times a week is all that is necessary so be sure to work with your vet.

This does not eliminate dental cleanings done by a professional and again you should work with your vet.

All vets will agree that you need to know your dog’s mouth and have at least a weekly schedule.

This is a definite situation where an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure as dental disease does kill.
