Many of you may have never met Chaser and her owner John Pilley, but they are an amazing duo.

This video tells their story in such a beautiful way and for many of us points out truths we already knew.

We don’t need science to tell us our pets are as intelligent as we choice to accept, not make.

It is us that need to find a way into their world and then teach them how to communicate in ours.

That is precisely what we do in dog agility and have learned so much about teaching dogs with rewards that make sense to each dog.

But it sometimes takes people like John who take more than the usually time with their dogs to get science to see what we already knew.
