Advancing Your Dog Agility Shadow Handling

Pam, Bandit, and Twix demonstrate some nice practice routines working shadow handling over equipment.

Because the dogs are young, you will see there are no contact obstacles and the jumps are low.

This should be the case despite the dog’s age when you are starting on any agility equipment.

The objective is not to get your dog on or over standard height equipment when introducing new concepts.

Rather it is to keep the equipment low until the dog understands the concept then you can, age appropriate, add height.

These are great concepts to get started on with your dog and be sure to SHARE it with others that are working on their shadow handling.
