What is Cik&Cap in Dog Agility?

This team is demonstrating Silvia Trkman’s own solution for getting a dog over jumps more accurately.

She uses two different commands for jumping so she can help her dog prepare for what will come after the jump.

“Hop” tells the dog to jump with extension, stretched out and landing as far from the jump as possible.

And “Cik” and “Cap” that tells the dog to jump collected and land as close to the jump wing as possible.

It also tells the dog which direction to turn after the jump, “Cik” meaning turn left and “Cap” meaning turn right.
