Difference Between a Fun and Dull Handler

We all know that to succeed in dog agility all you have to do is show up and play, right? Well to some extent, yes.

However, you want to be sure you and your dog are having fun and one way you see that is in your dog’s drive and motivation.

The happier and more excited your dog is about you during training the more drive and motivation to work he will have.

This is a great video that shows the difference between a “fun” handler and a “boring” handler and how it directly affects the dog.

Your dog picks up on your emotions more than you may realize and if you aren’t bubbling over with excitement neither is he.
