Treibball: Retraining a Nose Touch to a Ball Biter

Treibball is a lot like dog agility in that it is specific to each dog and not to just a herding breed.

Donna Hill shows you how to address training a dog that already has the habit of biting and pawing a ball in play.

Much the same as a beginning dog with the exception they have to unlearn trigger behaviors as well as learn a new one.

It is really impressive how fast this terrier learns to use his nose rather than teeth or feet to interact with the ball.

Note that Donna is using a ball with a hard surface in the initial training to ensure the dog does not pop them while learning.
