Deaf Dog Crushes Dog Agility Speed Jumping
This is a really neat video of a deaf WSD running a clear first round in G1-2 speed jumping and winning that class.
A deaf dog may have an advantage in that it relies solely on the handler’s body language to negotiate the course.
It can have it’s disadvantages as you will see the dog the dog has to check in for directions which slows them down.
It is so neat to see dogs and handlers overcome disadvantages like this and prove you can do anything you put your mind to.
In fact, a deaf dog can teach you so much about the value of body language on the agility course and it’s importance.
