This Akita Takes on the 2010 AKC Agility Invitational

While looking for some fun videos to share we ran across Akitas taking on dog agility and doing a good job with it.

We are under the impression that they are not the easiest dogs to train, especially if they take it on as adults.

However, there are a few teams out there doing just fine in dog agility and Dolcenea is one of them.

They have a little trouble at the weaves where Dolcenea misses a few poles, but boy does she like to jump!

They start and finish this run real nice with smooth handling and quick thinking that keeps Dolcenea in the game.

If you run an Akita or know someone that does, know that persistence pays off and the rewards are more than a blue ribbbon.
