Teaching Your Dog The Whistle Recall

We have seen lots of ways to keep your recall training fun and rewarding for your dog using positive reinforcement.

Some have voiced concern for emergency situations that maybe this training may not be “strong” enough?

Well, here is a great back up plan especially if you live in heavily wooded areas or places you need a solid recall without compromising positive reinforcement training.

The whistle can be a better recall for many reasons, but the main reason is it is the same sound every time.

Plus, you don’t have to worry about burning it out by casual usage by you or other family members.

Keep in mind that this is a training process that should take 4-5 weeks so don’t get in a rush with training.
