Pam Show How to Start Your Dog on The Tunnel

Nice video that demonstrates how to introduce your dog to the tunnel obstacle with drive and enthusiasm.

You should only start with the tunnel in a straight line and scrunched up as short as you can get it.

If you are working with an older and more timid dog you should use to people and loads of yummy treats and praise.

In either case you should get the dog accustomed to the tunnel at full length before adding bend to it.

At which point you want to increase the bend slowly and only increase the criteria when the dog is successful.

Remember it is about the dog building confidence not how fast you can get him through the tunnel. Take your time and go at the dogs pace.
