Nice Example of Dog Agility Front Cross
This is a short but great video example of a front cross that works well with a dog you do not want to lose sight of.
The biggest challenge with the front cross is timing especially when you are running a fast dog.
You can see in this example that there is clear communication to the dog about what the handler is doing.
The dog understands to stay on the current line and is not drawn off the jump by the handler’s movement.
You can also see how this sets the team up for the best execution of the final obstacle, the tunnel, allowing for a tight turn and clean entry.
If you or someone you know is just getting started in dog agility, SHARE this super example of the front cross with them.
