Maddie & Andrea Demo the Ketschker vs Wrap

Here is a video that shows the Ketschker turn vs a Wrap on this practice run.

For Maddie and Andrea the Ketschker works really well and they get a nice tight turn and shave 3/10 of a second off the run.

It takes practice for the dog to learn to read the cues and for the handler to become fluid in giving them.

There is some debate on the use of the Ketschker can “water down” your wraps so be sure you practice both.

And while you may not use the Ketschker in every run, it is a nice handling skill to have in your tool box.
