Introducing the Plank in 2on 2off Contact Training

What is so much fun about training videos such as this one is you get to see everything involved in teaching a lesson.

This is the first time this dog has seen the plank so they really are starting on step one with the basics of 2on 2off training.

Starting from simply getting the dog to interact with the plank all the way to introducing the 2on 2off position in just 5mins.

While your dog may not be this bold in the lesson it is great to see how shaping allows the dog to formulate the correct answers.

Using this method not only teaches your dog the desired behavior, it also teaches them how to think and work for the correct answers.
