How To Teach A Dog To Push A Treibball

This is a great starter video on teaching your dog how to push the Treibball.

It requires the dog to push not bite at the ball and to be able to add force to the push in order to move the ball.

Once you teach this to your dog he can even help around the house closing doors for you.

Treibball is a new sport to America, but widespread in Germany and is great for herding dogs.

It has many of the same requirements as herding with the advantage that you don’t need a flock in order to practice and participate.
