This is a neat video that demonstrates some of the major dog body language signals.

I think most people who have been around dogs a lot know these signs, but don’t realize the danger behind some.

It was quite some time before I learned about tail wagging not always being a friendly sign.

We as dog owners also need to do our part to educate others.  The USA has one of the highest bite rates due to lack of education.

Whenever we are our with our dog, we explain some of the simple signs and proper engagement with all who come by.

I think one of the most important is the tied dog.  Most Americans don’t know they should not approach them if the owner is absent.
