Dog Agility Recall To Side/Recall to Heel
Some handlers shun away from obedience, but we use it all the time in dog agility as Steve demonstrates.
As Steve points out, these exercises reinforce all body cues, especially motion as well as body awareness.
Your dog is working on de/acceleration, reading shoulders, arms and eye contact the same as on course.
It solidifies your dog coming to the indicated side without cutting behind you or in front of you.
This control makes it easy to move past an obstacle in Snooker and “International” handling classes.
All good and if you agree be sure to SHARE this great information with all your agility friends.
