Advanced Work with Dog Agility 2on 2off Contacts
This video does not tell us why this team is working on a 2on 2off, but we see they already have a beautiful running contact.
It may be that they were having issues with missed contacts or just wanted the added ability to stop on the contacts.
Also note that this is an advanced training session introducing the dog to a full dog walk, but not full height.
It shows you the advantages of having a 2on 2off contact to your disposal for courses where dog or handler need to regroup.
Some really fast dogs need a reminder to stay on the contact with a 2on 2off implemented from time to time.
You may wonder why you would teach anything other than a 2on 2off in the first place, but some teams need to keep the momentum going.
