Dog Agility Tire Jump Accident

There are several rules regarding the tire jump that have been put in place by most venues such as aperture opening size and height.

We wonder how long it will take for ALL venues to be required to use a type of breakaway tire jump to further add to the safety of all dogs.

In this run the tire is the third obstacle and this team we know run fast and hard making this crash a substantial one.

This is one of the few times we have seen a dog go between the tire and the frame and it looks like it is a breakaway tire jump.

They state in the comments that the tire was removed from the course making us wonder why. Did the breakaway not do it’s job?
