Interesting Dog Agility Breakaway Tire Jump

We have seen many venues using the breakaway or displaceable tire obstacle which is a must for keeping our dogs safe.

But this is the first time we have seen one that breaks away on the sides of the tire as opposed to the top and bottom.

Most accidents we have seen involve the dog making a poor judgement in distance or height and catching the bottom of the tire.

This design addresses the issue of the dog jumping between the tire and the frame and honestly, we don’t know how the other breakaway compares.

The main drawback on this design is that of having to “put it back together” every time it is collided with.
