Amazing Video on Stress Dog Agility

Stress agility is different than the sport of dog agility in that the goal is to put the dog and handler under mental and physical stress as they conquer the course together.

There is no competition except that of the teams to strengthen their bond and build confidence in the dog.

You will see this dog is well protected with safety harnesses and spotters on the intense parts of the course.

You can also see how these obstacles would be encountered in various forms during search and rescue, patrol, or K-9 Police.

It is so touching to watch this dog’s fear overcome by trust in the handler leading to confidence in the dog’s own abilities.
