This is a really neat video that shows so many different turns and crosses on one course making it easy to see why you need more than a front cross.

Ludmila Bartošíková and her beautiful, fast and locked on Sheltie do a superior job of demonstrating nine different elements in a seamless performance of this course.

Out, top spin, front cross, german turn, rear cross, blind cross, back, royal turn, lap turn are all shown and labeled.

She runs the video in slow motion with labels then in regular speed so you can get a real feel for the fluidity of the run.

You will also notice how and when she cues her dog, giving him plenty of time to make adjustments on the lines to follow her direction.
