Some Great Angled Approaches For Dog Agility
A very interesting video to watch and see what is possible with your dog’s entries into and onto all equipment.
It is always amazing to see dogs take weaves from difficult angles proving the dog knows the entry point.
And there is no arguing that the tunnels can and should be able to be entered at all angles as well.
But what about the collapsed chute and the contact obstacles? Should these be attempted at any angle?
There is a push for course designers to give dogs at least one straight stride onto contacts and for a very good reason.
These entries are all slow and controlled, but when serious speed is added the chances of crashes multiplies.
So, while we love the idea of solid angle approaches to other equipment and ask you to LIKE and SHARE these great examples of those, however, we don’t agree with contacts.
