Improve Your Dog Agility Team by Learning Dog Language

One of the most overlooked aspects of dog ownership is learning the language of our dogs and not just teaching them ours.

This video is a little dry, but does a great job of explaining and then demonstrating many of the basic signs our dogs use to speak to other dogs and humans.

Dogs hate conflict and do everything in their power to avoid it and they get guilty, they are trying to calm you.

Many dog bites could be avoided if more people understood what their dogs are trying to say instead of making things up like, “He’s being bashful.”

Or worse forcing them to do something when they are clearly sending signals that they are incapable or unwilling to do it.

It will improve your relationship and training if you take the time to step into their world and learn what they are saying to you.
