How To Teach a Focused Start Line Stay

This is a great example of how to get your dog on a focused start line stay.

You will notice this dog is not consumed with the notion of starting the run, but instead is focused on the handler.

In a team you have to have one giving directions and one carrying them out and it starts right here.

Our dogs are amazing creatures and they can learn to do so much, why would you limit them at the start of a run?

Start every run with your dog focused on you and allowing you to get into the best position to help your dog set up for each obstacle in a safe and efficient way.

If you start a run behind your dog you risk off courses as well as your dog getting out of position to take an obstacle and then find himself in a wreck.
