Proofing Your Tunnel in Dog Agility

This video shows one method of getting your dog solid on the “tunnel” command.

I would only add that although this dog obviously is very solid and the distance is great, you would build to this distance and turning the dog away from the tunnel.

Your dog would need to be pretty comfortable with the “tunnel” command off leash before advancing to this point.

It is a great test to see how well your dog truly understands the command which will not only boost your confidence in your dog’s perception, it will increase your dogs confidence in his ability to work independently.
