The Patterdale is better known for it’s hunting prowess and are seen in earth-dog trials more than agility as are many terriers.

But that is the wonderful thing about the SPORT of Dog Agility, it is open to all breeds!

I believe many would agree that a hunting dog has to have a bit of agility in him in order to follow his prey that is going to do all it can to stay alive.

And while this dog is not the fastest on the course and gets a bit distracted by some smells, agility is a game that

incorporates obedience into a fun and goal driven atmosphere that grows a team and strengthens the bond
