Duke the Deaf Basset Loving Dog Agility

We have seen several deaf dogs competing in dog agility and loving it, thanks to great handlers.

Duke is the first deaf Basset Hound we have seen and we have a challenge for you as you watch him go.

Turn off the volume and imagine this is his world as he navigates through the course with sight cues.

The handicap really doesn’t rest on him, but rather his handler as she has to make sure he sees her cues.

She does an amazing job of keeping him on track and motivated through this fun match course.
