What is Drop Zone Teeter Training in Dog Agility

Many people use the “bang game” to acclimate their dogs to the sounds of a falling teeter/seesaw and that is super.

Others teach their dogs to be aggressive with the down contacts, especially the smaller dogs, to speed runs up, but not on a loose board.

Drop Zone Teeter training is an exercise that looks a bit scary and dangerous especially for larger dogs.

Understanding the bang game, one is left to wonder if it is possible to take the “game” a bit too far.

This dog is jumping up before the handler has good control of the teeter and almost comes off at one point.

This dog might not care, but a fall from the teeter at that height might be enough to end some dogs agility career.
