22 Rear End Awareness Exercises for Dog Agility
Donna Hill shows you 22 rear end awareness exercises for you agility dogs as well as other dog sports.
The purpose of these exercises is to help your dog learn how and where to move their back end making them more agile as well as safe on dog agility equipment.
Donna makes a good point for handlers to remember, different body conformations may limit or enhance a dog’s ability.
Keep this in mind while working your dog so you don’t force a position the dog’s conformation will not allow.
There are plenty on this video that any dog can do such as walking on the rungs of a ladder resting on the ground and between and on top of two poles resting on the ground.
Any of the backing and rear leg targeting can be done by all dogs as well and can lead to some fun of your own.
